Hello all!
This week we will be finishing up with the 20's and 30's.
UPDATE: I have added 'Office Hours' that available weekly on Tuesdays from 1pm-2pm for Socials 10 until the end of the school year.
If you would like to touch base with me during my Office Hours I can be reached via Teams Video Chat Tuesdays from 1pm-2pm each week.
Of course you can still tag me with public questions in our class 'Discussion' Channel via Teams and/or email me as well anytime at ahathorn@sd19.bc.ca.

Review - Q 5 210-223 Due to the current pandemic (and associated severe losses and economic downturn occurring globally right now – and particularly in the US) what should Canada be prepared for in the future (possibly) re: our economy?
New Class Questions: In the 20's the purchases of non essential items went up - increased productivity and credit - Do you believe that the purchase of non essential items will increase post pandemic? Why or Why not?
Page 240 - Storms Ahead Review - Social Reforms of the 1920's - labour reform and working conditions - social security/human rights - many of these reforms were spurred by the stock market/economic crash of 1929 - Do you believe that the current Covid19 pandemic we are experiencing will also lead to additional major changes & social reforms being created for Canadians? Why or why not?
